Music

Andy & Danielle Crisman Danielle and Andy Crisman

Music is integral to the liturgy of our worship service and our lives. It is one of the primary ways in which we worship, love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.

All Saints' Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is the heart of the music ministry at All Saints' Loveland. The Adult Choir, composed of 21 volunteer women and men, sings 35-40 anthems each year at the 10:15 a.m. Sunday Service (mid-August through mid-June). Drawing from the ancient but ever-growing body of traditional Anglican church music, we strive to make music at the highest level while having fun doing it. The Adult Choir rehearses from 7:00-8:30 PM on most Wednesdays, and on Sundays from 9:00-9:25 AM. For more information about joining the Adult Choir, please contact Danielle Crisman at andydani@q.com.

Special Music

Special music, including organ voluntaries, violin solos, and others, complete our worship experience. Our Adult Choir presents a yearly cantata during one 10:15 a.m. service each year, and has collaborated with the St. John's (Boulder) Choir to perform selected works from Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols with harp accompaniment by harpist Hillary Schefter. In addition, the choir provides music for special services throughout the year, including but not limited to Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, the Easter Vigil, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve.

Organist

Andrew Crisman holds degrees in music education from the Crane School of Music at State University of New York at Potsdam and in trombone performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Andrew began his piano training as a young child. When he was in high school, he served as organist for The Church of the Resurrection in Hopewell Junction, New York. Andrew began teaching band in the Thompson School District at Berthoud High School and Turner Middle School. He currently teaches band and choir at Walt Clark Middle School in Loveland, Colorado.

Music Director

Danielle Crisman holds a degree in music education from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has completed some graduate studies in music education at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Danielle began her vocal training in her church's children's choirs. She has served as a soprano in the Bethel College Chapel Choir in North Newton, KS and the Adult Choir at St. John's Episcopal Church in Boulder. Danielle has taught middle school orchestra in the Adams County School District 50, the Thompson School District, and the St. Vrain Valley School District. She currently conducts the Longmont Junior Youth Symphony and performs with several regional symphony orchestras.

Andrew and Danielle were both raised in Christian families. (Andrew is a "cradle" Episcopalian, and Danielle's family belongs to Mennonite Church.) Music has always provided an important connection to worship for both. They have twin sons with whom they enjoy singing and playing.
